Lakeridge Auto Gallery generously hosted Ajax Pickering Hospital’s first CME for our Durham Region Primary Care Physician (PCP) colleagues.
"This day was about Primary Health Care in our community. We are looking at reconnecting Primary Health Care with Speciality Care and the hospital. To better serve the community of the Durham region, we believe we need to build a strong, well connected Lakeridge Health Team through collaborative partnership between Primary Health Care and Speciality Care, so we can deliver the best care close to home.
Providing quality care within the community not only reduces the need for patients to travel outside of Durham Region, it also means we are strengthening partnerships with physicians in Ajax-Pickering and better aligning our system of care with patient priorities,” said Dr. Jean-Placide Rubabaza, Gynecologic Surgery Lead at Ajax Pickering Hospital.
It was a wonderful day filled with educational presentations, mingling, and great good.
